Idaho Family Camp will again take place at Camp St. John Paul II.  Camp St. John Paul II is nestled among the mountains just south of Cascade, Idaho. This high mountain location is a beautiful, rustic, and peaceful escape.  Learn more about Camp St. John Paul II at https://campjohnpaul2.com/.

This year Idaho Family Camp will again be at Three Meadows Group Camp at Dworshak State Park.

 

Three Meadows is nestled among the mountains on Dworshak Reservoir near Orofino, Idaho.  This high mountain location is a beautiful, rustic, and peaceful escape.  Learn more about Dworshak State Park and the Three Meadows Group Camp here.

Team Family Camp 2024

IMPORTANT DATES:

April 7 Registration opens at 12:00 pm PDT
June 2 Family Registration closes at 11:59 pm PDT, and the
Last day to cancel for a full refund (less the $50 non-refundable portion)
July 11 Idaho Family Camp begins at 2:00 pm MDT

 

 

REGISTRATION

Family - $170
Family registration includes one or both parents and their children.

 

Adult - $85
Adult registration is for any single adult 18 years old and older not attending with their family.

 

Additional Children - $50 each
An additional child is any non-family child aged 0-17 and must be approved on a case by case basis.

NOTE:  All cabins have been filled!  If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for a cabin, please indicate in the notes when registering.

Special Registration Notes

 

Location
Three Meadows Group Camp (link) at Dworshak State Park is quite a bit further north than Camp Cascade. It is approximately 6-7 hrs from Boise and 3-4 hrs from Coeur d'Alene. It is also in the Pacific Time Zone.

 

Vehicles
Every vehicle is subject to the Idaho State Parks daily Motorized Vehicle Entrance Fee (MVEF) of $7.00/day and must have a park tag, a valid Idaho Passport, or a Season Pass on display at all times. Your registration and lodging fees go to cover the Three Meadows Site, Cabin, and RV fees.

 

The Road To Three Meadows Group Camp
Freeman Creek Road to Dworshak State Park is a two-lane asphalt road. The last two miles are paved, narrow, and steep (10% downgrade) with twisting hairpin turns.

Three Meadows Group camp is four miles past the main entrance of Dworshak State Park along a narrow one-lane, twisting and winding gravel road. There are numerous low hanging branches that could damage the top of tall vehicles. Use is at the operator's risk. Maximum total vehicle length (truck and trailer) that can safely traverse this road is 48 feet.

 

LODGING

Tent Camping - FREE
Tent camping is included in the registration fee.

 

RVs - $50 per family
Camp St. John Paul II has several RV sites, most smaller sized, with varying degrees of power and water hook-ups. You will be assigned a spot on a first come, first serve basis.  Please indicate your second choice (tent or cabin) if all RV spots are taken.

 

Cabins - $100 per family
Camp St. John Paul II has twenty rustic cabins ranging in size from 2 to 14 persons per cabin.  You will be assigned a cabin that best fits your family size.  Please bring linens/sleeping bags and pillows.  The cabins are NOT heated and some do NOT have electricity.  Please indicate your second choice (tent or RV) if all cabins are taken.

NOTE:  All cabins have been filled!  If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for a cabin, please indicate in the notes when registering.

Tent Camping - FREE
Tent camping is included in the registration fee.

 

RVs - $50 per family
Camp has several RV sites, most smaller sized, with varying degrees of power and water hook-ups. You will be assigned a spot that best fits your family.

 

Cabins - $100 per family
Camp has eight rustic cabins that can hold up to 12 people per cabin in 6 bunk beds divided into 2 rooms.   You will be assigned a cabin that best fits your family.  Please bring linens/sleeping bags and pillows.   The cabins are heated and have electricity.

NOTE:  All cabins have been filled!  If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for a cabin, please indicate in the notes when registering.

MEALS

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a meal plan like we have previous years. Should that change we will let you know.

Please plan on bringing food for your family for the duration of camp.

Cook Your Own Meals
You are more than welcome to cook your own meals.  Feel free to join with other families and share your meals.

 

Meal Group
A Meal Group consists of 3-4 families who take turns in preparing and sharing meals...to build fellowship and reduce the number of meals you would normally prepare.  You will be assigned to a group. If you have special dietary needs, please discuss it with your assigned group.

 

Meal Plan
We have access to a dining hall and you can choose from six delicious and reasonably priced meals.  Menu to be determined.  Cost per person five years old and older to be determined.  Children 4 years old and younger are free. Pending availability

NOTE:  Signing up for the Meal Plan is agreeing to be part of a cleaning crew. You will be assigned to a shift.  A minimum of 4 adults are needed per shift.

6 Meal Plan - $18/person
The 6 meal plan includes Thursday dinner, Friday breakfast and dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner, and Sunday breakfast.

 

5 Meal Plan - $15/person
The 5 meal plan includes Friday breakfast and dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner, and Sunday breakfast.

 

4 Meal Plan - $12/person
The 4 meal plan includes Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner, and Sunday breakfast.

 

2 Meal Plan - $6/person
The 2 meal plan includes Friday and Saturday dinner.

We have three new styles to choose from this year:  V-Neck, Toddler, and Onesies options!!  They look terrific, and we think you will love them, too.

 

The prices for the t-shirts and sweatshirts are as follows:

  • $11 for all adult and youth sizes/styles

Sweatshirts

  • $25 for all adult and youth sizes sizes

* Any money remaining from t-shirts and sweatshirts sales will be added to our fund to help bring religious to Idaho Family Camp. The funds may also be used for family financial assistance or other general needs.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

If you are in need of financial assistance to attend Idaho Family Camp, there is a limited number of partial financial assistance packages available. Financial assistance will be disbursed on a first-come, first-serve basis. When registering, please indicate your need, and then only complete STEP 1. We will then contact you.
